The story behind the look

The Nike Spring Premier Power Dress translated shadows across a tennis court into a black-and-white print. Solid panels, areas of sheer fabric and narrow back openings added texture to the graphic design.

Williams won the 2017 Australian Open in this look, taking her Grand Slam singles tally to twenty-three.
